Updated after skipping a week
I usually never skip a week for an update, but last week was an
exception. Life's kinda crazy right now and I've been busy with multiple
things on my plate. Not too much news to report. I'm still raising my
Nintendog, but I haven't gotten very far with teaching it tricks. Anyway,
the Video Games section has an update. Enjoy!

Nintendogs, Namco Museum: Battle
Collection, and Battlefield 2 online (demo)
These are the games I've been playing. I adopted a Nintendog named
'Griffin' and have been raising this Husky for nearly a week. Namco's
Battle Collection is pretty sweet on the PSP. The screen rotation
feature is nice, but a pain to get used to with buttons and control pad
on opposite ends of the machine, but at least I finally get to play Rolling
Thunder on a portable system! Even though it's just one level, the
Battlefield 2 (online demo) on the PS2 and Xbox are fun to play.
Now for updates on the site: Video Games has its regular weekly
update as well as Picture of the Moment on this page. If you want to
play with me in Battlefield 2, just send me an e-mail! Thanks!

Wahoo! New portable
system & update
I took advantage of the reduced price
for the Nintendo DS and picked up an
'Electric Blue' one. Snazzy, eh? The game
I picked up with it was Polarium.
New pics on Wizard World 2005 in Chicago are finally up. I was able to
get them off my dying hard drive and onto the new one. Click on the
picture link on the right to see the pics! Video Games has its weekly
update. For all of you Arcade Legends and Ultracade fans, I'm now
upgraded to version 3.0, which has 15 more games! If you want to talk
arcade, you can do so in the Forums.

Delay on content
Sorry, folks! I'm still installing essential software to make my computer
run smoothly again. The hard drive took a dive a little while ago, and I
got it back just this last week. So I haven't had time to do much with
these pages. Sorry! I'm still recovering pictures from the old hard drive,
so Wizard World Chicago, 2005 pics are still on hold until I am fully
operational again. Video Games has a minor update to keep everyone
at bay. Thanks!

Wizard World 2005 - I was there
Yep, I went to Wizard World 2005 on Sunday, Aug 7. It was pretty fun! I
plan on putting up some photos as well as scans of some of the signed
goodies from the show this week. Video Games is updated and so is
Picture of the Moment on this page.

Weekly update...hurray!
This main page has a new picture of the moment and the Video Games
section has its weekly update. Be sure to check out the new
sub-section, Trickman Terry's Trick of the Month! Please take notice
that the e-mail address has changed for the site, so please adjust your
address books accordingly. So far, the pages within The Trickman
Times have been viewed over 1,150 times since June 12th of this year
(the first official launch to the public). I love feedback, so please send
me a letter and tell me what you think of this site. Thanks!

Video Games has received its weekly update. Check out the news,
more links, sticker of the week, etc. Also, don't miss the debut of the
new sub-section, Kollector's Korner!

Spielberg talks about Transformers movie
A new Transformers movie is in the works (coming in 2007), produced
by Steven Spielberg. This could be cool! He talks about the movie
project on this page.

Updates and more
As requested, the Slapshot Rock section has an update. More will be
coming as I  figure out some media issues. As always, Video Games
has an update (at least weekly). I ask a question in the forums about
podcasting. All those interested, please join the conversation. Thanks!

STARCADE controversy coming
to a conclusion
I've been in correspondence for a while now with JM Production
Company, the producers of the 1980s TV show STARCADE. They are
the ones who politely asked me to remove my "parody" page on
STARCADE. Even though we have our differences about what we think
is funny, we are remaining cordial in the process.  I took the
STARCADE page down temporarily out of respect to them while I
modify it. I hope to have it back up soon. Thank you all for your
patience and understanding in this matter.

Slight update for midweek
Video Games has lots more "tidbits," and my Disclaimer page has a
little more info to it as well. More people are joining in the forums.
Thanks to those who've signed up so far! I've noticed a severe lack of
submissions to Borgine. Want to make a work of art for everyone to
see? Submit your own
Borgnine creation today!

STARCADE down due to controversy
Out of respect to certain anonymous parties, the STARCADE section
will be temporarily disabled, due to creative differences. I apologize to
all the fans for this inconvenience. The Video Games section is
updated. I've gotten many requests for updates to Slapshot Rock, so I
plan on doing this next. Have a great week!

Stern and Borgnine: Wedding Crashers?
Thanks to Whimsical Phil in the Trickman Times Forums, we have
ended the mystery of the whereabouts of Nicholas Stern and Ernest
Borgnine (Well, not really).
Click here to see them in their new movie!

Cheap thrills: iPod Shuffle
I picked up a cheap iPod Shuffle and I'm quickly getting addicted to
downloading podcasts! Podcasting is a new feature for the latest
update of Apple's iTunes program.
Click here to learn more about it.

Happy 4th of July!
I hope all of you are able to celebrate Independence Day with family
and friends. That's what I'm going to do. The picture of the moment
has been updated, as well as VIDEO GAMES where I have opened up a
new sub-section called Rehash Alley. I will be featuring vintage
remakes in this section that you can play on your computer. Enjoy!

Borgnine finished - plus more updates
Well, the Borgnine section is finally finished. A few other things are
updated and moved around, such as Basement Bash (now under the
"Gaming Basement" link in Video Games, and instead of "E-mail me"
on the buttons to the left, there is a "Contact Me" button which is a
much better contact page with a form, gamertags, etc. There's more,
so look around and have fun. Forums are sparse right now, but I'm in
there nearly every day to check on them. Join up and talk about
whatever you like!

June 20, 2005
More sections are updated
Borgnine is still in the works, but the pages are nearly complete. I've
also been working on improvements to the video games
section...check it out! New sub-sections in video games will debut
soon.

Weekend traffic increase
I was pleased to see a weekend traffic increase to the site. Traffic
almost tripled over launch day, (which was the previous heaviest
traffic day). If you're spreading the word about The Trickman Times, I
thank you very much. I hope to give you a site that you can come back
to and enjoy every once in a while. So have fun,  join the forums and
talk about the different sections of the site with other members.

Fixin' the Broken Stuff
My apoligies for the broken links and pages that take you to a
bandwidth donation site. I was not expecting this much traffic with the
debut of the new site, and I hadn't planned for a virtual meltdown of
some of the pages either! But, increased traffic is good, and I thank
you all for visiting. So, for the last couple of days I've been frantically
fixing the broken links and moving missing pages over to a new
server, while sometimes having to re-do some of the elements.
It won't be long...most everything works as of now. Borgnine is
pretty much the last of the re-dos, and it will be active soon.
Thanks for your patience!

Baseball quote by Terry?
The Old Timers' Baseball Association's May/June newsletter recently
featured a quote by yours truly about MLB for the Playstation Portable.
I love how I am referred to as "the industry's top game-bustin' cynic."
Thanks to Mark Braun for the write-up. To see a clipping of the article,
click
here. To see the full newsletter in PDF format, visit their official
website at
OTBAC.com.

Forums updated
The new Trickman Times Forums are the perfect place to talk about
anything from video games to Slapshot Rock...located at the links to
the left. Anyone who joined the old forums may have to reactivate their
account. It's a simple process and I did it with no problem. Thank you
for your understanding in this.

Are you "strapped?"
Mad props to Kevin Baird of Video Game News Radio, as he mentions
the Trickman Times site on his 5/29/05 VGN radio show. You can
download the broadcast by going to
this page and then clicking on the
05/29/2005 broadcast. (Note: Listener discretion is advised, as this
radio show has an adult theme and not intended for kids.) In the
Trickman Times forums under "Consoles" the subject is, "Are you
"strapped?" Did you hook up that white strap to your PSP? Join the
forums and talk about it and much more. Join as a member to start
your own subject threads!

Did you get a PSP?
Sony's incredible portable is out and even though I said I was going to
wait to get one, I picked one up with birthday money (aren't birthdays
great?). Did you get one? Are you on WI-FI with it? Join the forums and
talk about the PSP under "Consoles."
